Hi, I’m John Watton, award-winning B2B marketer and founder of JWA, a modern marketing consultancy designed for the AI era.
I’ve led marketing at global tech brands like Adobe, VMware and Yext, building high-performing teams and delivering commercial growth across 40+ global markets. I understand the pressures of scaling and how marketing can (and should) drive the business forward.
Through JWA, I work directly with GTM leaders in growth-stage companies to help reset teams, optimise performance, and unlock new growth - all powered by AI. My approach is practical and results-driven: whether it’s a strategic audit or hands-on project, I bring senior leadership without the full-time overhead.
Alongside client work, I advise and mentor teams navigating this new era. I believe in cutting through the noise, focusing on outcomes, and building marketing that earns its seat at the table. JWA exists to help you do just that - faster, smarter, and with real impact.
When not working you can find me trying to make the perfect caffé macchiato, going to gigs, fiddling with analog synthesisers or listening to electronic music. I'm also renovating a property in Puglia, so desperately trying to improve my Italian!
